CYCLING & BIKING

The Camel Trail

The 18-mile Camel Trail links Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin via a largely traffic-free route that follows an old railway track alongside the river Camel. Great for cycling, walking and nature watching for all the family.

Cardinham Woods

Enjoy some off-road biking at Cardinham Woods with the 12km Bodmin Beast blue (moderate) trail and two tough red graded trails. Bikes are available for hire and there is also a trail tune service and replacement parts available so your visit to Cardinham isn’t hampered by mechanical gremlins.  Visit www.trailmunki.com for details including costs. There is also a play area & great cafĂ©.

Lanhydrock

10 kilometres of purpose-built, off- road cycle trails, weaving gently through majestic woodland on the Lanhydrock estate. Graded according to difficulty, the cycle trails are perfect for all the family.

WATERSPORTS

Of course, one of the main watersports in Cornwall is surfing. If you fancy giving it a try, there are surf schools at Bude, Polzeath, Perranporth, Watergate Bay & Harlyn Bay to name a few.
Siblyback Lake & Roadford Lake both provide watersports tuition, courses & hire of equipement, for sports including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking & waterskiing.
